What to Expect and Provide
Bob Mortimer is very capable of flying alone (or sometimes with a companion) to his speaking engagements. Here are the requirements to ensure that your event featuring Bob will be set-up properly as he arrives.
Transportation
Air Travel
Bob normally flies to his speaking destinations from the Pacific Northwest.
Ground Transportation
A vehicle and a driver will be required upon arrival. Bob can bring his own driver and can arrange for a rental vehicle. However, to save expenses, you may want to provide for these. A mini-van is ideal. An SUV or sedan will work, provided there is room for the wheelchair (the wheelchair folds for easy storage).
Lodging
Wheelchair accessible lodging is needed. Most hotels have adequate rooms.
Meals
No special requirements.
Sound, Lights and Stage
Microphone
A wireless lapel or headset microphone is needed. Bob will bring his own if one is not available. His microphone will plug into your sound system.
Lighting
Adequate lighting only, no special stage lights required.
Stage
An elevated stage allows the audience to see Bob. This is important in auditoriums, arenas and churches. In school gymnasiums Bob can be on the main floor with the audience in the bleachers. No podium or other stage furniture. Where steps are used to get on stage, Bob will need two people to lift him and his chair up the stairs.

Physical Assistance
Bob is in good physical condition and able to take care of himself. He transfers in and out of vehicles without assistance. He has strong endurance and is willing to do multiple presentations in one day.
Financial Requirements
It is expected of the host to cover costs of transportation, lodging and meals for Bob and his driver. An honorarium for Bob's services is also expected. If there is a concern about raising the funds needed, contact Bob Mortimer Motivational Ministries so that alternatives can be discussed.
