Reaching Those Behind Bars
Bob Mortimer's talks to inmates are typically organized by jail or prison chaplains who invite Bob to present the good news of Jesus Christ to those serving time behind bars. The message is one that God can transform lives in mighty ways.
Most inmates struggle with self-denial and admission about consequences for their actions. Bob helps them to realize that they are accountable for the outcome of those actions, but that God loves us all equally and has a wonder plan for those that accept His strategy for living.
Life works when we make the choice to be accountable for our actions and experiences, and when we make a willful decision to follow Christ.
After release from incarceration, there is no reason to keep living in the past, as long as the focus is on a positive, biblically based life.
Bob invites chaplains to contact him about his program for those serving time in jails and prisons.
